Torrie Wilson

Torrie Anne Wilson, born July 24 1975 is an American former professional wrestler. Wilson is most famous for her participation in World Wrestling Entertainment, formerly known as the World Wrestling Federation. She was also an official Miss Galaxy competitor in 1999. [1][8] Soon after her win, she was hired by World Championship Wrestling. She continued to work for the company from 1999 until 2000. [2][7][8] In 2001 her appearances on World Wrestling Federation television were part of The Invasion (a WCW storyline, which was then called the [then] WWF). Five of her most prominent storylines occurred in 2002 when she battled with Dawn Marie and in 2003 with Sable. Wilson was a part of the all-female stable which is a group of characters associated with stories. Wilson was first exposed to the sport as a fan at a World Championship Wrestling(WCW) event in 1999. [7][8][9] She was then asked to walk backstage and go into the ring along with Scott Steiner. In the following days, Kevin Nash expressed an desire to write an episode with her. [5][7][9] This was her first appearance on the Nitro show's February 8 1999 episode (later called "Samantha") The episode revealed, in the narrative in the episode, that Wilson was snatched by the New World Order (nWo) to seduce David Flair into turning against his father, Ric Flair. The two appeared together at SuperBrawl IX on February 21st in which Wilson was slapped Ric as David hit him with Tasers. [15] Following the time that Ric took home the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from Hollywood Hogan at Uncensored inside an Barbed Wire Steel Cage match, David and Wilson took the time off from WCW television in April before returning in May to take David to the ring for matches. Wilson served as Flair's valet at the 1999 Bash at the Beach. Flair was able to defend the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship.
