Lucy Liu is a voice actress singer and director. Also, she is an actress. An attractive, clever and talented actress, she's a great inspiration to Asian actors who want to be big stars in Hollywood. Her initial success was enhanced when she appeared in several popular television shows. In those shows, she played the evil Ling Woo. After her popularity, she was offered major parts on the shows Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). Following that, she gave an her best role in Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese crime-lord O Ren Ishii. In the meanwhile, she was also in the lead role in a few films that failed at the box office, such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started to voice prominent characters in animated films such like Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. small screen roles like Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia did not yield results. Southland was a critically acclaimed series of police dramas that included Liu in multiple role, allowed her to reaffirm her status as a performer. Liu is extremely careful when choosing her roles to ensure she isn't a victim of stereotypes. While she's very proud of her ethnicity however, she is not letting it limit her imagination.
